I have seen Dr Hess many times for both my knees and my shoulder. He is very thoughtful and takes the time to explain options and potential outcomes and really includes me in the decision process. I feel he is a talented surgeon who is also pleasant to deal with. I'm very happy with the care I've received from Dr. Hess as well as his support team.

Business response:

Thanks for taking the time to leave a review! We're glad you had a great experience with us!

Ryan Hess, MD, impressed me quite favorably. A significant plus was that he used language that I could understand in discussing my medical situation. Recognizing and giving proper attention to the fact of my AGE in outlining treatment and future expectations was appreciated. No questions technically.

I was referred to Dr. Hess due to shoulder pain. My first visit consisted of an x-ray and consult. 10 minutes. I then had a MRI of the shoulder, tried PT but did not work, directed to get a MRI of neck while shoulder MRI was not yet read, saw neck specialist (nothing) then back to Hess for shoulder & cortisone shot. Total w/Hess 20 min max, MRI's OOP $2080 + co-pays & deductible & PT. Hess should have read the shoulder MRI before directing neck. Hurried and impersonal, lack of continuity of care.

I had a hill sachs lesionin my right arm, it was apparently a difficult surgery to perform and Dr. Hess was the only person available to do it. Since the surgery and the therapy I have had next to no issues. Good Doc.

Dr. Hess operated on my shoulder to remove calcific tendonitis and did a fantastic job! I couldn't be happier with my results. Physical Therapy went amazingly well and I have full range of motion back and no longer have pain or trouble sleeping because of my shoulder. He is a hero!!

Business response:

Hi Marsha, thank you for the review! We and Dr. Hess truly appreciate it and are glad that you had a great experience. -TCO

Very thorough and informative doctor with good bedside manner. He was EXTREMELY accommodating about my schedule and am healing well. He is a “rock star” in terms of his surgical skills and a nice guy as well. Am very happy with the care he provided.
