Coming to Dr. Ryan’s office was the first time for me and I can proudly say I’ll keep coming back. He was professional, informative and attentive. I use both contact lenses and glasses. Dani and Danielle welcomed me at the front desk and they were extremely friendly and knew what they were doing. I’ve been going to LensCrafters beforehand but I’ve always felt like they lacked in the customer service department. My daughter and I have had Dr. Ellwein as our eye doctor for MANY years. I have had, and still have, crazy issues with my vision. He is the only doctor I trust. He has a great personality, gals at the front desk are always awesome! and if there is ever an issue he always helps get it figured out. The problem is most always my eyes, not him. Awesome Dr.! He's friendly and really cares about his clients. I developed a distortion and he examed me at no cost. His staff of also friendly and great to work with!
He screwed my prescription up and won’t stand behind it. When he rechecked me he was rude to me. When I asked him to stand behind it he refused and invited me to leave and go elsewhere. Total unprofessional jerk. I saved his snarky message he left me. Don’t take your chances with your eyes with him!

I had been to four other optometrists before I found Dr. Ellwein. I spent a fortune on glasses and none of them helped me see - in fact they made me incredibly nauseas, even after the doctors "fixed" the prescriptions and had me pay to upgrade the lenses. It was awful. By accident, I found Dr. Ellwein. One simple appointment and new glasses and I could see perfectly! I'm super grateful for him giving me my sight back. My daughter and I have been there for three years now and my mom goes there now, too. :)
