i left a good review after my first visit. fast forward, i broke my back again, showed up to her office in tears. i wouldn’t let this woman touch me with a 10 ft pole. after telling her i could barely get up at night in time to make it to the bathroom for the pain and asked for 1 or 2 weeks of pain meds, she referred me to a pain management specialist. I don’t know where all these crappy reviews came from because I had a totally different experience with her. I didn’t find these reviews until i was searching for the office and about had a panic attack going in… Not even close! Dr. Henchey is very attentive and inquisitive about your issues. She offered great advice and ordered what i felt like were the appropriate tests. So, we’ll see how things go. I’m looking for a professional, not someone to coddle me…
She was condescending, did not listen to me, told me to "sit down!" when I got up to point something out on a paper that I brought with me with my medical information! She disputed the fact that I could change the settings on my CPAP machine myself. She said that was not possible, AND I DO IT! She had no answers to my questions and simply referred me to the sleep technician who was very helpful. No bedside manner at all and misinformed to boot!
The foregoing assessments by other patients about Dr. Henchey are on target. Her lack of professionalism, inability to listen without interruption, absence of empathy, condescending attitude, and unfriendliness negates any skills she may possess as a practitioner. If she is asked any questions, she takes them as a personal affront to her ability and spends more time talking about her skills and abilities than being patient focused. I went andmsaw Dr. Henchey, cause inwas assured she was the best in her field. Well my experience was like everyones else horrible. Her bedside manner was horrible andnshebran a battery ofntest fornstuff that didnt eve go with my symptoms. Ater itnwas all said and done allmshe told me was not to become an power lifter. And this person is teaching the next gerneration of doctors. Lord help us all. I would suggest to not see her, she may have been at the top of her game at one time but not n
I saw Dr. Henchey for a seizure and I was very dissatisfied with her bedside manner and concern with trying to get me under control. Finally I had an General Practice ER doctor refer me to someone else who got me under control and was interested in trying to get me off my meds or at least get me on a lower dose of a newer medication unlike Dr. Henchey who basically didn't care. I would not recommend her.
I am a 56 y/o Professional and I have NEVER encountered a more rude and condescending Physician in my life. She asks a question and then cuts you off before it's answered. She made a matter of fact diagnosis without an examination. AWFUL response time when called! Refers and then questions their recommendations to a serious condition and then refers elsewhere. I will never go back to her and would strongly suggest you look for another Neurologist! Wish you could give 0 stars! Horrendous!!
I will tell you I have never had a Dr treat me so poorly or have me so upset. Very Rude, no bed side manner, she does not give you a chance to speak, condescending. No help at all. I waited hours to get medicine to help with my migraines and got nothing at all except a worse migraine from this horrible visit. Will not go back, will not recommend and will tell people to run , run far away get someone else.
I’d give her 0 stars if I could. Terrible bedside manner, obviously burnt out on her job. Thinks nothing of her patients and will leave you waiting for hours
