Not worth my time to post. Maybe people with good reviews saw her on a good day. I was polite and respectful; she was not. And, I suffered major anxiety after my appointment and prognosis not confirmed nor able to be confirmed by her. Getting tests: MRI just in case.... don't want to be 'paralyzed from the neck down.'
I can’t believe that this woman is a doctor. The way she spoke to my wife and I as if we were inferior human beings was atrocious. My wife then went to translate in Spanish to her mother what this lady was saying and they tried to correct my wife by pronouncing it in English as if my wife was an idiot and my wife had to tell her she was translating to get this lady to settle down. She was very aggressive when questioning my wife, (which English is her second language, but she is as fluent in English as any other American I k... read more
I was referred to Dr. Henchey by my PCP for a sudden and unexpected problem we are trying to diagnose. Admittedly, after reading the reviews before actually seeing Dr. Henchey, I was a bit apprehensive, and honestly - she was great: Kind, straightforward and direct while asking the kind of probing questions needed to help us figure out what is happening and where to begin treatments/testing - and she was reassuring.Because I needed a witness to accompany me to the office visit to actually describe what happened to me, Dr. He... read more
We arrived 15 minutes early for a follow-up appointment but they treated me like a new patient as they didn't have a record for me. Had to do all the forms again. Then they led us to a waiting rood and left us for over an hour. I asked about being seen and we got "She's running late. She's with another patient. She'll be with you soon." How many patients before me? nothing. We left.
I waited 50 min and STILL WAS NOT SEEN. I get to the back and she hasn't even reviewed my records. BE PREPARED TO SIT AN HOUR BEFORE getting seen.
She was 45 minutes late and treated me like I wasn't worth her time. She was the most dismissive, rude and condescending doctor I have ever encountered, and I have had my fair share of encounters with specialists. I'm sure she is a fine academic but her patient care is like broken glass. Doctors like her will make some patients give up. I left her office in tears and demanded to see another. I am not giving up!
I had an appointment to discuss concerns over some recent tests. This doctor, and I use the term loosely, was so arrogant that it was impossible to get any answers out of her. When I informed her of a life threatening illness I had 20+ years ago, she was more interested in proving that it was not life threatening and arguing with me rather than providing answers to my questions. She did a number of tests on my feet but gave no explanation as to why. At the beginning she asked me to remember 3 insignificant words suggesting t... read more
My husband was referred to Dr. Henchey by our primary physician. I did not look at her reviews until we were in the room waiting for her. I admit I was horrified and said nothing to my husband about what I had read. Dr. Henchey was extremely professional. Yes, she interrupted my husband because she wanted to stay on track and get the information she needs to take care of my husband. I’m very optimistic that the tests she has ordered and the referral she made will he my husband figure out what is going on and the best way to ... read more
update to previous review… i picked up my x-ray myself after being refused an mri of my thoracic spine… guess what! broken back! the practice manager called me prior to my discovery, i told her of my concern. nothing back from her. i’ve since made appointments elsewhere in hopes of getting the help and answers i went there seeking, only to be rushed in and out after an hour wait. don’t go here!!!
