Waiting time avarage 6,5 hours so even then the waiting room is super small, no air, dirty, not enough chairs, just 4 comfortable chairs and the rest of them is extremely uncomfortable and a torture to try to sit for hours while you are in pain and sick. The nurse brought some warm blankets but when it's night time you get sleepy while you are waiting, they can at least make the waiting area bigger and cleaner and better chairs for sick people. It's a disaster to see this situation in a hospital which has a long wait time!
First off, it’s disgusting there. Second, they made my 2 year old wait four hours just to misdiagnose him. The doctor said he had a GI bug, but it was actually hand, foot and mouth disease. Horrible. Do not recommend at all.
I had a very disappointing experience at this hospital. The waiting time was extremely long, even though my situation required more prompt attention. The staff showed little empathy, and I felt like I was not treated with respect or taken seriously. Communication was poor — no one clearly explained what was happening or what the next steps were. Beyond dirty and incompetent, I don’t know how they’re rated so high. I waited 10 hours in the ER just to be told I still had 6 ppl ahead. The nurses there are a complete joke and waste of space
Believe the reviews. For being in such a central location & having a supposed high-class reputation, this is the WORST emergency department I have ever stepped foot in. Go further to UCLA if you can, and avoid Cedars at ALL COSTS. It’s a dangerous place in a life or death situation. I was in their ER last year after a serious fall, with excruciating hip/joint pain. I thought I broke my hip. The wait time kept being extended with no communication. I waited 12 hours before being seen. TWELVE HOURS. And the ER wasn’t even that ... read more
