I had an awful and extremely disappointing experience at the Cedars-Sinai Emergency Room beginning Friday night, August 28. I arrived around 8:00 PM with a cut/laceration on my scalp that had been bleeding. By 3:30 AM Saturday, more than seven hours later, I still had not been seen by a doctor. This hospital does not seem to have the capacity to handle patients. Low staffing and triage practices make wait time last 6 to 8 hours. The staff here says the wait time for Saturday July 26th is apparently 10 hours. That’s probably something they should warn in the beginning. Not at the 6th hour. I’ve personally never waited 10 hours or even heard of anyone waiting 10 hours. I would recommend saving yourself one of the doctors work shifts and use the time to find better care.
Horrible nightmare ER. Hundreds of patients waiting in cramped quarters w/out food, water for over 12 hrs to see a doctor. Never again!
