Thank you Danielle for your feedback. We like to hear both positive and negative reviews. I do believe there was a misunderstanding regarding reservations. All reservations must arrive on time as we have had an issue in the past with people arriving 45 min after the reservation was made which tends to hold the table up much longer. Due to the issues and the long wait we have made a new policy, before seating anyone the whole party must be there at scheduled reservation time so my apologies if nobody explained that to you. We love the Rusty Pelican so much we are willing to wait the almost standard 30-45 minutes (I love the boutique next door!). It's a busy place for a reason. The lemon crepes are fantastic as well as the yogurt parfait and the hubs loves all of their omelettes. Whatever you do order...get the coffee. It's a treat with very thick heavy cold cream served with each cup. It's a beautiful little show watching the cream mix in. I only wish they served their coffee in clear mugs.
The last few times we've been, the experience has been just so so. This final visit was very greasy, warmed sausage, and I'm not sure what was going on with the eggs. If their prices were more reasonable I wouldn't even say anything - but spending $40 for a breakfast for two, I expect perfection.
