My father paid $800 for a "good" engine. I put it in and it had 60lbs of compression on #6 cyl. They did get him another engine but, would not help with the extra costs of all the gaskets and fluids. Not to mention labor costs. I guess it's a good thing I did it for him or would have had to pay a shop two times. The guy behind the counter told him "we usually test the engines. I guess this One slipped past us." I'm a 20+ year mechanic in Jacksonville. I will never buy anything from this place EVER AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!!
