Originally, these cottages were part of a labor camp for the Brockway Lumber Company, and they were converted to vacation cottages in 1925. Each unit is decorated with its own character and personality. If you are looking for that modern resort, this is not it. RecommendedWe stay here for our Birthdays each year. Small, rustic as in the name. Kitchen amenities. Nice bathroom and shower. Comfy bed and pillows. Gas fire places/fire stoves. Some cabins with wood burning stoves. Excellent breakfast in morning in cozy communal dining area. Fresh scrambled eggs, ham cubes, large sausage, make your own waffles, cereal, toast, milk, juice, coffee, cereal soooo much soooo full lol
It’s pet friendly and a full breakfast 🍳 is included with every cottage.

Been coming here since 2003 and we love staying here. The staff are always friendly and the rooms are very reasonable.

We have been staying here since 2008. These cabins force you into relaxation. Most cabins have a full, yet small, kitchen, fireplace and some have jacuzzi tubs. All are adorable with rod iron beds. The staff is so friendly. Breakfast is served every morning in the welcoming main lodge. There are VHS and DVD movies to pick from - a welcoming break from trying to select something from endless choices on Amazon Prime and the like.
