Wasn't their best day, that's for sure. Their kitchen was well understaffed and we saw more than 5 tables walk out due to lack of service.
Breakfast at Russell's Marina Grill this morning by the Lakefront. They've added a porch roof and fans for their patio seating making this great breakfast/brunch spot even better. The fried oyster omelette with bacon and cheddar smothered in remoulade was on point, as always, and they always keep my coffee cup happy.
Marina Grill has delicious food, their shrimp & catfish is awesome, Our waitress Katie was absolutely awesome, very polite & attentive. Will definitely be back👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼

The food is always good and quality of food is always consistent. Big Al's Bloody Mary is the best. Service there is always excellent. Friendly staff.
Love the breakfasts there. Sunday is crowded, so I recommend the other six days.
Loved the eggs benedict choices & having breakfast anytime. Food tastes like old new orleans style, like my French Gma used to make.
Russell's Marina was a great place to eat breakfast. We went to the Billy Joel concert and got a hotel room in Metairie and wanted to spend the day in New Orleans. We started our day off at Russell's Marina. The bloody Mary's were amazing. We ordered the sweet potatoes beignets as an appetizer. I had the Mr. America Rody Gaubert Special which was two multigrain pancakes w/ steel cut oats, pecans and blueberries and bananas, 5 egg whites and a grilled chicken breast. AMAZING! Everything on the menu looked delicious.
Stopped in for brunch after the Rock n Roll 1/2 Marathon. Service was great....The Big Easy omelet was amazing! The Mimosas were made with fresh squeezed orange juice. The sage and andouille grits cake was delicious! Highly recommend you try Russell's Marina Grill.
