Very knowledgeable, good with my son, patiently explains answers to any questions I have (even the crazy new-mom ones). Whenever my son saw a new specialist, Dr. Vaughan would call me to follow up and make sure that I understood the new report/diagnosis that the specialist had explained. Answers my son's questions directly to him (my son is now 6). The nurses and other doctors are great, so we can always be seen for a sick visit, even if it's not Dr. Vaughan. It's very calming to have a thorough and kind doctor for my son.
Fabulous Dr who truly cares about his patients and our family. He has been a true professional and I would highly recommend him to anyone.
Dr. Vaughan, Dr. Cozza, and Dr. Montgomery are the BEST around!!!! We absolutely LOVE them and they have been there for us while working through our son's health issues. We never wait longer than five minutes in the waiting room and they are always so pleasant! The only complaint I have is the woman at reception. I don't know her name, but the super tan older woman with brown hair and pink lipstick - she is SO incredibly RUDE! Vaughan Russell Md - Amherst Pediatric Assoc is just great! He's just great! taking his time and being soft and nice with kids! and taking the parents concerns into consideration. With doctor Cozza, he is probably the best.
Always a pleasure We have been taking our children to Amherst Pediatrics since Dr. Eisenberg and two colleagues started the practice in 1974. Dr. Vaughan has been with them more than 20 years, and it is always a pleasure to see him -- even with a sick child. His demeanor is always one of quiet, unruffled competence which is reassuring in the face of a screaming child with a soaring temperature. And despite seeing him only a few times a year, he invariably remembers our children.
