Check in was good,checking of vitals and discussion was good,get to the lab and different story,I was early for my appt as is asked check up and discussion good,after waiting 30+ minutes in lab section I left without lab work,I along with others have other things to do,after waiting I left,others that came in after me were called in,I have a job and don't have time to sit around waiting like a herd of cattle,I better not be billed for lab work I was there for and did not get because of what appeared to be over scheduling,an ... read more
After 20 years of being a patient Dr Sliker made it clear that I would be just fine without my medication. He made it clear he had no control over the phones not working for the last month. My wife and I left multiple messages and Dr Sliker said he didn’t know anything about it. Well, I’ll say again he is useless. These people at Southcoast are nothing more than a retail medical operation. No care or concern for anyone’s time but their own. I'm a retired RPh and have known many doctors in the area. I particularly like his humility and more than that, his ability to diagnose. That's why I have recommended Dr.Sliker to many family members including my Mom and my wife's Mother.
Dr. Sliker took the time to listen to and understand my concerns . He then carefully explained a course of action to get me back to optimum health. I appreciate that he never rushed me though his facility was very busy today. I left the the examining room today comfortable with going forward toward pain relief and getting back to feeling normal.
Good visit. Dr. Sliker listens and shows he cares.

Met with Dr. Sliker after spending a long time trying to find a good primary care physician. It felt good being spoken to like an actual human being wanting to improve my health situation, and Dr. Sliker not only handled my immediate concerns but gave me great advice to address the core causes of my issues. Highly recommend!
Sliker failed me on several fronts. I left a previous review, but it was deleted. Odd, but whatever. Then he had 6 or 7 reviews after mine, and he received 5 stars. Now, you know where "he" ranks, don't you? It's weird to say the least. Onto the review, he didn't tell me that I had high calcium. That means, going unchecked, I was going to have a heart attack. He didn't tell me I was prediabetic. He failed to tell me I had intestinal permeability (a.k.a. a "leaky gut"). A Nurse told me. Thank you again. I left the country and... read more
