When I went in, I didn't feel I had any cavities even tho the x-ray showed them. I had to 2 small easy filling on both my molars. One up right and one down left. I have been in pain ever since he done both teeth. Now he says I will probably need root canals on both teeth. The last one he did didn't even have a dental assistance and that's the one is bothing me 24/7. I just can't believe what has happened. This doctor made me wait an 1 1/2, he then took only 10 min to check and clean my teeth and said they were fine. i went to another dentist and he said that my fillings were old, i had a cavity and that my teeth looked like it had not been cleaned for yrs. there was a lot of tartar.
I am an American living overseas. My family and I had to fly into Honolulu for a conference and needed dental work done. I used Dr. Oogle to find Dr. Imanaka. All I can say is I WISH HE LIVED IN MY HOMETOWN OF CINCINNATI! He is AWESOME. My husband and I as well as my two daughters ages 3 and 5 all saw him. My 5 year old had to have several fillings. He's the best dentist there is and he's got a sense of humor to help you feel relaxed and comfortable. He tells you exactly what is necessary and what isn't and doesn't do any unnecessary work. My daughter got her first filling from Dr. Imanaka and she said it didn't hurt at all. He's really accomodating and goes above and beyond for his patients. I would recommend all my friends and family to Dr. Imanaka.
Dr. Imanaka is the best, no-nonsense denstist I have ever been to! His prices are reasonable and he doesn't do unnecessary work. He explains things so clearly and in layman's terms. He is the best!
Dr. Imanaka is "real", down-to earth and a great dentist! I think he may be the best dentist I have ever been to.
