I first visited Russell Dental about 8 years ago to get a second opinion. Another dentist had told me that I needed a root canal, which would have cost thousands since I didn't have insurance at the time. It was just a cavity, albeit a rather large one. I only noticed it when the hole opened up in my tooth. Dr. Russell was able to fill the cavity (or maybe it was 2 cavities in 2 teeth, back to back, I don't remember.) Dr. Russell is a member of the family, and has been taking care of my teeth since I was little. Anytime I’ve gotten compliments on my teeth or smile it’s because of his work. He’s provided me custom fitted mouth-guards for athletics, semi-annual cleanings (I haven’t had a cavity in over 15 years), and has referred me to the best specialists when I needed braces or when my baby needed an oral exam.
It was honestly the worst dentist experience I’ve had. Don’t get me wrong the staff was nice and all just very rough and they were just so unorganized and not professional at all. When it was my turn to get my teeth cleaned it hurt so bad and my gums have never bled that much. After he was done my teeth and gums ached so much after. Me and my family will not be coming back…
My reviews keep keeping deleted. Not sure why when I’ve had to spend THOUSANDS of dollars to fix the botched work I had done as a child and teen. I will end up having to have implants here soon. One tooth took him 4 years to work on and I had to have it pulled by a surgeon in many pieces. For a root canal?! Absolutely ridiculous. That’s what will happen with the next teeth if they can’t be saved. I do not recommend coming here unless you want dentures as an adult. He was easy on my dad’s wallet. I chipped my tooth so I called Mike and Doree who then got me in immediately and fixed me right up. I also went in a week later for a cleaning, and they were great for both visits!
