Dr. Birdwell is genuinely concerned for his patients and goes out of his way to make them feel better. I had two trips to the ER and my results were inconclusive but I was in quite a bit of pain and Dr. Birdwell got me on the surgery schedule the very next day after I saw him. I would recommend Dr. Birdwell for anyone, including my wife or my family.

I’ve known Dr. Birdwell personally for over 15 years. He has operated on multiple members of my family and October 2018 I made the decision to have gastric sleeve surgery. Dr. Birdwell and his staff were so kind and patient with me as this was my first surgery to ever have done, I was very nervous. Since October I have lost 74lbs, have had zero complications with recovery and have gained a new level of confidence. Dr. Birdwell changed my life and I am forever grateful for him and NDSS.
