Terrible Customer Service – I did not even get to the point of engaging Rushton tree service as I was so offended by the owner's lack of professionalism. He showed up unannounced to my home and got angry with me when I was confused about who he was. He stormed off my property when I told him that I, a woman home alone, do not open the door if I do not know who is there. If this is the example the owner sets, I would hate to see how the rest of the employees act.

There are better Tree Service Companies – Reasonable prices, but uneven quality and customer service. Fail to return calls. Service Techs did a very fast & spotty spraying job, "rushing" (pun intended) to the next job I suspect. Serviceable pruning, at best. I would not use them on a very special tree that needs a top-notch prune.

Tree cutters, not Arborists. – Had the opportunity to view this crew at work last week on neighbor's property. They operate for a large "cherry picker". In the end, the neighbor got a pretty bad hack job, according to my brother-in-law who was visiting from Ohio, where he is, an aborist! He pointed out to me where they made bad choices of limbs to cut (not balancing crown weight), and made bad cuts in the process (good cuts encourage tree healing and prevent decay.) great service – The service from Rushton was excellent. They were prompt and very friendly and they did a great job on our very large old tree. They also did a really nice job on our bushes and schrubs.

Service Falls Short – They did not return my phone calls, and the person answering phones was rude. That alone is why I am going to find a new company to do my work.
