Excellent Tree Trimming – We hired Rushton Tree Service to do a full trim on a very large silver maple (almost 100 years old). They did a beautiful job at removing all of the deadwood as well as trimming the branches back. We were worried with all of the dead wood removed, that the tree would look awful, but it looks fantastic. As far as pricing, Rushton was very reasonable compared to our other quotes. We would highly recommend Rushton Tree Service, and will definitely use them again.

Shocking Customer Service – We contacted this company since they had done work for a family member in the past. The owner showed up 30 minutes early and was irritated that I did not immediately answer the door. A few days later I called the office to ask a follow up question. The lady that answered the phone did not know the answer to my question and was very short with me about following up with my inquiry. We decided to use this company for our tree care needs. Rushton's Tree Service-- Worth a call – We had three companies come and give us bids for some tree removal, and Rushton was by far the cheapest. We also had two friends recommend them to us. My only complaint is that they could have communicated with us more clearly about when they would arrive and that the clean-up/stump grinding crew is separate from the tree cutting crew. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE – The gal that gets mentioned in the older reviews... must still work there. HORRIBLE customer service. Rude to say the least! Will not even consider using them if they beat the competition by 50%...and we live in the neighborhood.

I recently purchased a home in the Wash Park area and was referred to Rushton Tree Service by some of my neighbors. Out of all the estimates I compared, Rushton was the cheapest and most professional. The receptionist was friendly and quick to schedule the work at my home. The crew that did the work were skilled and professional and did a great clean up job. I would recommend their services to anyone I know.

Not a rip-off; fast, reasonable, not arborists, either – After interviewing three tree companies, Rushton's bid came in approximately $1,000 less than the market leaders, which tried to sell me expensive auxiliary services, and contracts on the other trees in my Park Hill yard -- though I'd explained that those other trees had recently been pruned and didn't need service. Horrible customer service – Although the crews did their job efficiently and quickly (reason for 2 stars), it's the office person I take issue with). She was condescending and rude. My messages were never returned and was only able to speak to her if I actually got a hold of her. The left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing.
