This was the best ER I have ever been to. The staff were all calm, friendly, and professional. The waiting area and rooms were clean. I was prepared for a long wait, but I felt like everyone was getting processed quickly. It’s the best you could hope for in a crisis.
Don’t waste your time going in here, you’ll wait for hours, nobody will care for you. Terrible place.
UPDATE: RUSH KEEP YOUR GENERIC APOLOGIES. EMERGENCIES HAVE NOTHING TO DO WITH WORKERS ATTITUDES AND LACK QUALITY CARE! AND RIDICULOUS 6-13 HOURS OF WAITING!! Prepare for a long wait---unless you’re bleeding out or have something like COVID, you’ll likely be told “nothing is wrong” after 6–13 hours of sitting there. HIRE MORE PAs and DOCTORS TO WORK, IF THERE ARE THAT MANY EMERGENCIES THAT CAUSE LONG WAIT TIMES IN THE FREAKING DOUBLE DIGITS! I honestly despise ERs, especially the one at Oak Park Rush! The 1 star is by default only. I work for a large corporation who's mission statement is "to promote the art and science of medicine and the betterment of public health" i highly respect this mission i work for every day. I just read RUSH mission statement. I think the ER staff should be reminded of the mission they signed up to work for! I have never been treated so disgustingly in my entire life and it wasn't just me I heard the disrespect throughout the er among many staff and patients.
