This was by far the worst hospital experience I’ve ever had. The communication was poor, and I felt completely ignored throughout my stay. Instead of receiving care and support, I was left frustrated, stressed, and disappointed. I would never choose this hospital again and would not recommend it to anyone looking for quality patient care.
This ER will not help you. You will wait in the ER for 5 hours without being seen. You will have a better chance of just dying in the waiting room. My 74 mother with dementia was not seen after waiting 5 hours of waiting. They were well aware she hasn’t eaten in 5 days and when she eats she can’t hold anything down. The did not care. The felt more annoyed that people even showed up in there ER. Go to any hospital but this one. They should have 0 stars. Heartless hospital.
Be very careful of this place. The reviews are all real these people do not care about you. About a year ago, a friend of mine was admitted into the ER for a health scare and they ran a serious of test and had given him meds. He was also given a mysterious injection and the staff made no note of wha was given to him in his charts or records. Fast forward, he now have serious complications and is seeking legal council. I came to the ER this past week feeling unwell. Although there was a long wait (I understand the hospital is taking on more patients due to West Suburbans closure), I was still able to get quality care . Dr. Rabin was amazing! She is very kind and compassionate and even with all the chaos managed to make me feel seen and heard. She is an inspiration, The nurses were excellent as well. I appreciate everyone who helped me there. Thank you!
The bathroom was filthy as is the parking garage. The water fountain didn’t work. It takes 2-3 weeks to get your mammogram results?!?! It is May and the first bone density test available is Christmas Eve!! Really?!?! I called to schedule and waited 25 minutes on the phone only to be transferred to the wrong dept and when I called back, she argues with me and transferred me to the same wrong number?!?! How can they possibly handle your health?
