This is my second time here first time they treated me horrible I came thinking since they treat my mom so nice I’ll try well today I came in and got nothing but attitude and now police is being involved
I am very disappointed with my experience and outcome following hernia surgery with Dr. Cheryl Hornsby. Unfortunately, the hernia recurred after the procedure, which has been physically and mentally exhausting. I was never informed that mesh would not be used, and based on what I have since learned, I believe that decision may have contributed to the recurrence. I would not recommend anyone to go here! their staff has gotten terrible doctors, nurses, and all! there’s no clean bathrooms, rooms, & waiting room is disgusting as well. Don’t know what happened to this hospital, but they do not give you the proper care anymore. They need to start treating people with RESPECT and how they would want to be treated, and like a HUMAN! there’s a long wait time as well
The ER is the worst! No empathy and really lack of communication not to mention a dirty waiting room with dirty facial tissue with blood. Disgusting. I wished my daughter’s insurance would allow her to choose another hospital but guess she’s stuck with this one, the worst one in Chicago. No this is not my first experience here, it’s about my third time here and no improvements. I guess they like their 2.5 stars.
I had a surprisingly pleasant experience with the emergency room on Christmas Eve morning and was so grateful for all of the staff who helped me. Dr. Mitchell Fagan was extraordinarily compassionate and trauma-informed. He asked if it was okay to assess as he went along his head to toe a number of times, which really impressed and reassured me. He also validated my pain and was quick to address it.
