I want to start by saying the food is not bad. It's not super authentic but it's pretty good. But I will say that the service in the restaurant is slow. Also I have ordered delivery about 11 times now from them and 10 out of 11 times my order was incorrect or missing items. On mess up number 10 the manager Sean was very helpful gave me a discount since I had previous issues. That single order was perfect. We love this place, we have loved everything on the menu.
Tacos were amazing yesterday! Unfortunately I ordered a killing me smalls margarita & it was straight up lime juice w/ jalapeno flavor just awful ...traded it for a blood orange frozen ,which was rough & then only to discover that it was from a machine & not freshly made. I will go back to the house margarita next time
I would really like to warn those trying to go visit Ruru's. Had a party of 8, everyone ordered food and we continued to drink for Cinco de mayo. Alcohol costs more than food. Our waitress was forced to cash us out and lost her section until we paid and left our table. We were not drunk, we were polite to everyone, and we were paying for our service. Racist!!! We sat at a table for Cinco de mayo and were told we needed to leave so other could sit and leave. The tables next to us weren't eating or drinking and were never asked to leave. We continued to order food and drinks but were looked at as though we weren't welcome. I've worked in the restaurant industry, and I've never been told to tell customers to leave no matter what the stereotype.
