I had an accident in June of 2021. Never received a bill and almost 2 years later got a call from a collection company. I don't know why or how, but this is not professional.

ambulance took me to the hospital. 4 months later I was in collection. This company stated that they didn't have my medical id from my insurance therefore couldn't collect money and put me on collection using wakefield and associate. They said they tried to call me and mail me of my debt but i have not received any information at all until i saw a collection notice on my credit report. This company has a broken process and simply just put people on collection and hurting their credit report. terrible company.

This company is fraudulent and a scam. They will continue to take advantage of people in their greatest time of need. This is the problem with our healthcare system. Instead of working with your insurance company, they’ll send your bill directly to collections. Instead of being in moment with your loved ones, beware; you have to fight and understand the implications of being transported by this company. It will cost you dearly. This ambulance will stall you out! Don't wait for them to contact you they WILL send you to collections.
