I have been asked to answer text messages every day about explicit things that have nothing to do with my pain. Invasive obnoxious daily text messaging and if you don’t answer you will be discharged. I love my nurse practitioner however I have never laid eyes on Dr Rupert only received a $326 bill from him.
I saw Dr. Rupert for the first time this week. I have psoriatic arthritis but he questioned my diagnosis, lectured me about my bladder implant because I can't get an MRI. Then promoted books by another quack doctor, Steven Gundry, all about a very restrictive diet. Dr. Rupert claims to have cured himself and many others with just this diet. Helped me. Had MRI. Made his professional opinions, we signed agreements and there was never no problems. He never wrote me medication just for the fun of it . He actually knew opiates wasn’t answer to my back pain but I had other pain issues. Also when I got to point of trying shots for my back and if they helped we hoped lower opiates one day maybe. Doc and staff very compassionate. Asked many questions, took time listening at every visit. I would recommend to anyone in need of help with understanding and living with long term pain.
AWESOME! Stay with the injections & all other treatments & Dr. Rupert will keep your MEDICATIONS INTACT REDUCED and most of all reduce your PAIN LEVEL!!! Dr. Rupert has been an amazing doctor throughout my life changing injuries. I've been with him 5 plus years & also waited many hours with him & will do it again. This Steven Rubert tried to push me to getting injections $$ and basically implied if I didn’t get the injections he would not prescribe pain medication that’s when I walked out of his office
Dr Rupert is a no good doctor in it just to make money. There is no compassion there. I have had two lower back fusions and need another and my hardware is loose. He looked at my ct and mri and said the fusion was fine, and he was wrong but he got to inject me in the back knowing it was not the fix. Now I missed a appointment I can not get a refill. Poor care is all you will get from him
I waited over 2 hours to see the doctor for a 1st visit. The waiting area was SRO & chairs uncomfortable. When I was called, still in waiting area & within hearing ofanyone they wanted a urine sample - I told her this was my 1st visit & Just a consultation. Then she asked did I want pain medicine, still in the waiting area! No privacy! So many items set alarms off for me. The Dr was rude, loud, & made me very uncomfortable with his manner & behavior. I will not return.
Doc and Pat are great!! The Front receptionist upstairs where you check-in are rude as hell!! Act like your bothering them!! If they have a problem with me checking in/out then maybe they need to find another field. They don’t have any people skills.
