RecommendedI know Runner and Stone from their Saturday outpost at the Union Square Greenmarket. Absolutely the best croissants I’ve found in NYC. And I love their whole grain einkorn version most of All. I was sorry to hear that they are closing until they can secure financing. Heartbreaking.

A perfect place for coffee and pastry. The baked goods here are some of the best French style breads and pastry this side of the Atlantic: buttery and light croissants, baguettes with flavor, crust, and texture that stand out, and galettes that don’t overpower with sweetness. The coffee and tea are also first rate. Staff are always friendly and welcoming.
