The idea of the Rundown cafe was born in 1993 from tropical travel adventures and a love for the fresh exciting foods of the Islands."Rundown" is the name of a coconut milk, fish chowder so named "Because Mon it run down so good." I ❤️ the California style Fish Tacos while my wife prefers the Noodle Bowls. We usually go there twice on our visits to the OBX. Highly recommend this restaurant !!!!

Surprisingly good food at cheap prices. Pictured are a tsunami salad with tuna and spicy Thai lemon grass with tuna noodle bowl. Total bill $33. Amazing
