We had a great time, we came in for two morning hunts to specifically target drake pintail our guide Kevin Diehl went above and beyond to make our trip a success. Kevin is the only guide we had but if he is a resemblance of the entire staff at run n gun then you can’t go wrong. Such a great time! the Management and staff hands down made for such an awesome expieriance! excellent food and accommodations. highly recommend. can't brag enough on R-n-G team! The owner, the guides, the behind the scenes boys cleaning birds, and even the dogs! everything was absolutely top notch!
Awesome place! These guys and gals get a 10 in my books for sure. Lodge was better than most with an amazing staff. They put on a hell of a show up there. Second year we have been there. Caleb Rush 1is an amazing duck whisperer. First time upland and goose hunting. Upland with Parker, Tanner, and Spencer, so much fun!!!! Nick and Patrick on my first goose hunt. Awesome!! I love dogs more than humans! Pepper, Trigger, Legs and Rebel are pups, very well trained!!! Savanna took care of our reservation. Spent the weekend at Run-N-Gun down in Matagorda with my team of plumbers doing a little fishing. Had a real blast with Caleb and Kevin guiding our fishing trips and Maddison’s great team at the gorgeous new Lodge. As usual with these guys we filled the coolers with fresh Trout and even got lucky with some Red Fish and a Flounder for dessert. I have been fishing on the Texas coast for many years and I don’t believe I have ever been connected with a better group of guides.
Had my Drahthaar trained by Nick and Parker. Today was her first time out hunting and she got her limit and then some in retrieves. Was everything i could ask for in a brand new trained dog!!!! No issues whatsoever!!!! Extremely pleased and recommend their training.
