Really enjoyed the lodge and the food was excellent.. had a great fishing experience fishing the Matagorda area.
This operation is top notch. Amazing food, accommodations, and the guides are as good as they come. Thank you for your support of the military and veterans. The do not disappoint.
We went to the Run-N-Gun for a dinner and social for the closing ceremony of an international agricultural tour. The Run-N-Gun was amazing!! It was the ideal venue for the last event of our 17 day tour across the southern U.S. The lodge is beautiful and so very comfortable - and what a beautiful location! The food was excellent, the service beyond reproach and the event was made more special by the warm hospitality. This is a 5-star company all the way around. From the waitresses to the guides, the staff are ALL very friendly and accommodating. Jared Buck, the lodge manager, made sure we were taken care of all weekend. Justin McKnight, the chef, made the absolute best meals. Our guides were great and sent us home with a good box of trout and reds. The lodge itself is super nice with lots of entertainment.
