Would not recommend based on the horrible experience I just had. I was having dinner with my girlfriend and a labmate when another patron poured half a pitcher of beer on us on his way down the stairs. Two of had our entire backs covered with beer, our bench had a pool of beer we were sitting in, my dry-clean only coat was covered in beer and my girlfriend's backpack was splashed. It's so disappointing that one of the few bars left in college town hires such piss poor staff. We walked in hoping to take a quick drink early in the night before a hockey game, but instead had our IDs bent entirely in half by incompetent bartenders who lacked any respect whatsoever and claimed that a completely busted license should work at other establishments [after ruining ours for no reason]. I really love Rulloff's! Went there for the pre-open tasting of all their dishes. Everything was so good. My faves were the roasted root vegetables and the tater tots! OMGosh! Great Brews, Great People, in addition to the great food. Check it! :)

I've been very happy with the food, drink, and service at the new incarnation of Rulloff's. The Friday night beverage pairing dinners this past summer were creative and delicious, well matched to some fun local drink producers. The bar staff are doing innovative things with cocktails, like a shrub I enjoyed on a recent visit, and my latest dinner featured excellent wings and a hearty, satisfying, creamy pasta dish full of seafood.
