I made an appointment to see this doctor weeks ago. At that time they collected my insurance information. There was never a question that it would not be accepted. Last Thursday the doctors office called and advised it needed blood work, it my appointment would be cancelled. I scrambled and got it the blood work. Today I shows up for the appointment only to be told that the doctor did not accept my insurance. I drove from the Bronx to Jersey City for my Endocrinology appointment and it was such a pleasure meeting the staff. speaking to them over the phone was like we already knew each other. It was the same feeling with Dr. Rujuta Katkar, very attentive when you express yourself and showed concern. I would definitely recommend this office!!!! RATING: A+
If you’re looking for a great doctor for diabetes or weight loss. She is the one to see. This doctor really cares about her patients and their health. She has helped me in so many ways. Wish I could give her 10 stars.
Wonderful office. Someone from CarePoint needs to address the cold temperature, but Dr. Katkar and her staff are kind, knowledgeable, easy to talk to, and they make me look forward to my upcoming appointments. Highly recommend.
Dr.Katkar is a very professional,knowledgeable, and attentive physician with a phenomenal bedside manner. She was very patient with all my questions regarding A1c concerns. Not only does she listen to you, but she also tries to determine a course of treatment that feels best for your individual lifestyle. She assisted me with getting prescriptions approved with my insurance provider. Staff is also very pleasant and helpful. Overall, I highly recommend Dr.Katkar to anyone seeking an endocrinologist.
