Attentive staff I have eaten at the Rugby Grill (inside the townsend hotel). The staff there is very attentive, and friendly. The food and dessert menus are both excellent. They have a great wine list. It's a nice place to celebrate a special occassion. The dress is business casual. The cost is fairly high, which is generally expected in birmingham.
Townsend Hotel I enjoyed my stay at this hotel. It wasn't very big and was quiet during the night, which was nice. I enjoyed the fitness room. The staff here were great and knew what they were doing. The hotel is surrounded by restaurants and shopping. The service here was superb. The bathrobes were great. The beds were very comfortable. I wish the room was bigger though.

amazing hotel If you want to treat yourself to a relaxing stay away from home, book a room at the Townsend Hotel. This has got to be the pemier hotel in the Metro Detroit area. When A-listers come to town, this is where they choose to stay. The service is impecible, and you will not experience luxury like this anywhere else.
