The one pound shrimp was great!! Highly recommend!
Great food, Nicholas was an awesome waiter, we had a really good time.
Wonderful experience. We loved sitting outside watching all the boats come by while we waited for our table. We got there before 7 so the wait was not long. The food was awsome my husband and I had seafood and the kids had burgers and chicken quesadilla. Everything was amazing. We will go back next time we come for a visit.

Great food and excellent service...We had the fish tacos as usual which was delicious. So if you ever want a great place to eat around the Morehead City area Ruddy Duck Tavern is the place to be.

It's our favorite restaurant here as locals! My husband had the tuna special..outstanding and I ventured from my favorite (West Indies Tuna) and tried the shrimp, scallops, clams & flounder...outstanding as well. Beautiful views, excellent service. Oh, and tied the boat up, ride from EI!
Bar food at best. 😔 Severely over cooked black beans and rice, scooped from a warmer and rubber fish tacos. Appeared to be ground up crab meat (maybe low grade special) in the crab cakes, and greasy soft crabs. Very disappointing.

Went there for my birthday dinner and it was awesome. I have to be gluten free and lost everything they have can be made gluten free. It is my favorite place to eat. Well worth the 40 minute drive one way.
