Great food and amazing service! They helped us locate a painting they had in the restaurant so we could order a print. We'll stop here every time we're in Austin!
There are lots of BBQ places in Austin, but none compare to Ruby's. The quality of the meats and the flavor make Ruby's a hands down best in town.
"OK: generally average" perfectly describes my experience. Meats were correct doneness and technically well smoked but lacked spice and smoke flavor. Sauce also very unobtrusive, which for bbq sauce is not a great thing. Serviceable but not worth going out of the way for.
