Cant rate the food, as we never had the chance to order. My wife and I got there around 5 pm and were seated fairly quickly by the host. That was the last time we had any real direct conversation from anyone who worked there. The restaurant was not busy, and they had three servers working one section (maybe 5 tables with people, not including us). We live in Houston Texas, and have a son who lives in Maryland. Whenever we visit him, we drive to Frederick for this Ruby Tuesday’s restaurant. I love the salad bar, the staff are always attentive, and the food is always great.
Wgen we came in around 6pm, the bartender seated us. The server came relatively quickly and took our drink and appetizer orders. My husband got his sweet tea immediately. It took 20 more minutes for my grandson and I to get a Peach Lemonade and Apple Juice. Apparently servers aren't allowed to make simple non alcoholic beverages. I actually had to go to the bar and ask about my drinks and was met with an attitude. He was too busy. Waited 37 minutes for drinks! Table services were mediocre could be a lot better if you have a lot of time to be sitting around good value for the money, but Otherwise not!
The burger I ordered had undercooked bacon on it an and the cookie skillet dessert had small plastic fragments. The waitress and management said it was "probably" undercooked rice that may have passed to the cookie prior to cooking, but im not convinced. The pieces were about the size of rice but really hard with a sharp edge like plastic. Either way, sub-par and concerning food. Would not recommend. Hope we dont get sick.
