I always get the burrito especiale they have rice beans and then you pick the protein you want and I always get steak. I'm not sure what else they have in them but they're really good and I love their salsa so I always drench it in salsa. It's super good. I eat one. They're at the restaurant and I take the other one with me. It also comes with chips and of course I get the salsa from the salsa bar and I get a small soda.
Great experience, great food. Fish tacos are the best at Rubio's.
I wanted something spicy and healthy after a rough day at work. I asked the cashier if they had anything spicy and he said you can make anything spicy with the salsa they have (to me they aren't really spicy, even the Diablo sauce). I found a bowl I wanted and then wanted to know if they can add jalapeños and a lady in the bagging area rolled her eyes, so I stopped the guy and said never mind and left. Feeling ripped Off… I ordered a steak burrito with rice and guac, however, what I got was mostly a “RICE” Burrito with flavorless dried steak and almost non-existent guacamole! I even asked the cashier how old their steak was prior to ordering and I was “assured” it was fresh! Spent about $18 with a drink! I could have gotten a REAL MEAL elsewhere for that price! Save your money skip this place for sure! No I do not recommend…
