I have been to Rubio's all over the place and when I use my rewards the QR code never works at any location I give my phone number and then it works at this location however the phone number didn't work so there was no way to get rewards. Not sure if the cashier was doing it right she kept repeating the number back to me and it was wrong. She wrote the phone number down but she kept telling me that it wouldn't work.
