Stay Away if you dont want headache, they try to take advantage by charging more than agreed and trying to place a lien even tho I paid them. I hired Terry A Rubenstein Inc to do clearing on my lot in North Port, FL, before starting the work, I told him that its 3 acre lot but needs aroung 1 acre cleared, we also met on the property twice before he started work, verbally he told me $10,000 for all work, but then when he sent a quote he he broke down Step 1 clearing $7,500, Step 2 Dig Pond $12,000 and Step 3 Move Dirt from Po... read more

Refuses to pay their bills! I referred a sub contractor to help this company who told me their name was ESI Builders and needed dirt for a foundation, and we were unable to help them at the time. Subcontractor did the job requested by Rubenstein Lawn and Landscapes, INC. NOT ESI BUILDERS INC> and that was over a month ago! Still waiting on payment and Rubenstein Lawn and Landscape has already been paid by the GC for this job!. LOOK FOR SOMEONE ELSE. I called them to schedule them to come out 2 days later, and 30 minutes past their scheduled time I called them, and they "forgot" to schedule me. They said they would attempt to come out later that afternoon, and I was never called, nor had they ever come by. DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME!

We have been scheduled to start the job three times and they never showed up. I would have given 1/2 start but the system does not allow me.
