RecommendedAs a resident of small town, one can get bored of local restaurant fare. I live in Decorah and I can tell you, I never get bored of Rubaiyat. The menu changes seasonally and it is super high quality. The staff shows great skill in their training. AND if that is not enough, the family that runs and owns this business is super community minded. They donate to lots of non-profits and help out in so many ways. You will love their food, the experience, and knowing your $s are going to great places in the community.

I dine out often in the Twin Cities, but I ALWAYS look forward to dining at Rubaiyat. They have one of the more impressive domestic wine lists I've ever seen in the entire Midwest. Great food, attentive service, small-town charm. The bang for the buck is very impressive.
We enjoyed Valentine's day together at Rubaiyat. it's a comfortable place that feels very intimate. even with every table full. The wine list is amazing and reasonably priced. All the servers are very attentive and friendly. Kim (the better half of the husband and wife owners) makes everyone feel welcome. I cannot recall ever having a more tender steak anywhere! Definitely our favorite intimate place to eat.
