This company is discriminating and violating civil rights. THEY TREAT LOW INCOME PEOPLE LIKE CRIMINALS. THEY MUST BE STOPPED. WHY THE **** CORAL POLICE NOT PROTECTION THOSE VUNERABLE PEOPLE.
I currently live in an apartment run by RTS and I agree with the previous complaint that I can never get an answer from anyone because when I call the person does not understand my question and tells me somebody will call me back and nobody ever does. I was here through hurricane *** and after the storm I worked day and night to dry and clean my apartment top to bottom, while everybody else just left and expected somebody else to take care of it, but that being said nobody ever came in here to check anything, I have no idea ... read more

I pay my rent in full, on time every month and still can't get someone to answer the phone at RTS. I get texts in broken English instead that doesn't answer my question. Today I called again and a girl answered, I asked, have you received my signed lease? She said she didn't understand the question!! RTS of Cape Coral is very poorly managed. I rented from RTS in the past and got my full deposit back. I'm a good renter and answering calls is the most important thing a rental company should do. Very disappointed!

It is difficult to understand what the complaint is about other than we have Spanish speaking staff. We manage approximately 400 apartments. We have perhaps 50% who are spanish speaking and don't speak english. We have several staff members some are bilingual, others may speak only English or Mostly Spanish. My minor child has a service animal completely documented by the state, and three doctors and I was told by this company that I would have to pay a non-refundable pet fee/deposit. As an attorney admitted to practice, I can assure you this unquestionably violates Federal Law, [see generally Fair Housing Act (FHA) and Americans with Disability Act (ADA) ] and can result in huge fines in the thousands. This has been the absolute worst rental experience we've ever had. Our issues never were fixed in a timely matter, in some cases not fixed at all, and when they were addressed it was 'fixed' incorrectly and therefore reoccurred over and over. Our apartment was entered without notice or permission at least three times that we are aware of. Mold was present the entire time we lived there and never properly addressed. I have NEVER had a problem with RTS. The management works with the tenants to solve any issue that needs addressing. When it comes to maintence issues, they are very quick to take care of any issues. Tammy and the people in the front office are a pleasure to speak with, and, as I mentioned earlier, they will do everything they can to resolve any issue as quickly as possible. My wife and I are happy to live in an apartment owned by RTS .
