Nice Discovery.. I found this place while driving home one afternoon, Im so glad I did too. I love BBQ so I was thrilled when I found this place causally hidden next to a tattoo shop. I did a U- Turn and went in. The service was nice and friendly. But even better was the quality of food I got after I ordered. The brisket meat plate was phenomenal and they gave me a good helping of it too. Their house sauce was tangy and spicy but appropriately so. Lots of meat. Very generous servings of brisket and pulled pork. We are not barbeque experts but the meat seemed well prepared and was sliced to order. Two sauces provided, original spicy and a somewhat sweeter one. Both quite acceptable although spouse prefers a more vinegary condiment ; we realize there are different schools of thought on this important issue. Nicely fried okra and ok coleslaw. Worth a Second Try. Salt Lake seems to be a bit shy on fabulous barbeque. We have some good places, but nothing stellar. So, I am always on the lookout, hoping for something exceptional. Today, I tried R&R. The location was in a strip mall just off 300 west and 600 south. The decor is simple and clean.
