Lots of food - the half rack of ribs was more than I could eat at a sitting. The portion of fries was awesome. Loved the setting because it was perfect for ribs - just casual with sports on the TVs. The place was clean and they really knew how to move the crowds along - and there's a reason the crowds are there - the food is terrific and well priced. I can't wait to go back.
Superb Pulled Pork and smoked sausage. You might have to wait for a bit the wait is worth it. The worst part is that it's closed out on Sundays. Their wings are good too. I still prefer BWW.
Oh my! they have got their meat done so good that you have to say to your mama that she is second in the line...... Their briskets chopped up with some of the original sauce just gives you the high!
It's simple....the best damn ribs I have ever had the pleasure to eat. A gorgeous mahogany bark with sweet smokey rapturous porky goodness. Perfectly seasoned and perfectly tender, but not overly soft. They are meaty and do not need sauce in any way. The sauce is sweet and transparent reddish brown. It is not my favorite Bbq sauce, but it is superfluous anyway when the meat and smoke are so good. Red beans and rice were spicy and flavorful with big chunks of flavorful sausage. I do wish the sides were bigger and I did not ... read more
OKRA!!!! Comfort & atmosphere are sacrificed here , but it's a BBQ joint, whaddya want? Great Brisket, great Pulled Pork. decent Mac & Cheese, decent Cole slaw..... but the OKRA !!!!! Wow, the best I've ever had barring my mother's . Not for snobs.
Pricey but good. Brisket has never failed me here other than when it is sold out at the end of the day. Ribs are hit and miss. When they miss its usually because they are not rendered good enough. The pulled pork is excellent most of the time. The brisket really steals the show here. Best bbq in the SLC valley.
Best BBQ in SLC. I grew up in Kansas City and I dare say this place could hold its own back in my hometown. Get the beef brisket and drown it in your sauce of choice, you won't regret it.
Amazing sliced brisket (just ask them to trim off the fat). Enjoyed the chicken and ribs. Mac n cheese was fair, but I didn't like the dry hush puppies and the beer battered onion rings were so saturated with grease that I had to send back and exchange the order. If you go, go for the brisket.
Cold BBQ and No Smoked Taste. Pitiful. Another failed attempt at BBQ in SLC. Fahren-hype 801. 1. Spent $19 on the 3 meat plate which was cold with no flavor. Was still hungry so I went to Taco Bell...true story. 2. Ribs were tough and cold. No flavor either. Couldn't detect anything special about the taste and they were NOT tender at all. Very pitiful here...only 2 ribs come with the 3 meat plate. However, I did like the flavor of the sausage. 3. BBQ sauces come in a squeeze bottle and are cold. Good joints have warm simmeri... read more
