This was easily the worst renting experience we ever had, and I've lived in Pittsburgh for almost 10 years. When we were first shown the house there was obvious damage from a smoker and multiple cats. They promised us that they would deep clean the house so the smell would be gone. When we moved in, the house still smelled of cigarette smoke and cat urine. They asked us to write down any grievances we had upon moving in and they would address them, so we did. I cannot begin to say how wonderful and understanding RPI is! I would give them more stars if I could. I've been at two different rental properties with them spanning 10 years. The ease of paying rent and entering a work order via an app is most convenient! Of all the times I've had to put in a work order, they were ON IT immediately. My garage door broke once and Chuck came over straight away to help me get out since his normal maintenance guys were off the clock at that point. Chuck and the rental office staff were very reasonable about the rental experience and communication was adequate through the web portal they have. Chuck is a very reasonable landlord and keeps the critical items handled. Would rent from them again.
We were tenants of RPI Rentals for 3 years and thoroughly enjoyed living in our newly remodeled house. Chuck, Kristy, and Tina were excellent in communication and promptly addressed any maintenance issues.
