The person who came to the apartment wanted to charge $175 to snake the bathtub drain pipes due to a clog. Then he suggested to rebuild the drain pipes to the bathtub because he was afraid the snake would damage the pipes. He quoted another $600 to do the job. Little did he know we had a previous plumber replaced the pipes just a few weeks prior but left the drain pipes alone because he said they were fine and is easy to replace if needed.
