$333/hr for the guy's work! We needed a ridge vent nailed back into place and called this guy out. He said additional work was needed and quoted us $500 for the job. We agreed, expecting major work ahead. He then went to the roof, did the work very quickly (1.5 hr), and came down to collect his $500 check. We paid him, and he left without even giving us a receipt. No laws were broken, but we still feel utterly ripped off!
