Personable, experienced, and he treats you like family. He gives excellent advice and genuinely cares. From the emergency surgery I needed the day I met him, to delivering all my children and caring for the changing needs post menopause, he’s the best. I always felt in good hands especially when he would call to follow up after an appointment with test results. Good old fashioned care. I’m writing because I hear that retirement is in his plans. Appointments never felt rushed. He listened, gave his best advice when asked but still respected your decision. He is old school which is valuable in my opinion as you’re getting a more personal care approach and that is something rare to find. He explains everything so thoroughly and why is applies to you! Additionally, if you’re his patient, he will make the best effort to be there for your birth even if he’s not on call which again, is so valuable.
Good doctor who does care about his patients, however he will induce you for no reason once you hit 40 weeks. Which for a lot of women, they will end up in an unnecessary c section since their body isn’t ready. I know 5 other people who had the same situation. He will then say your hips are too small and you can never have a vaginal birth - which simply isn’t true. He is always cordial and makes you feel at home. Have not been to his new office since he joine St. Agnes.
Always a wonderful professional experience. He is calm and positive. I have been a patient of his for 40 years and just saying that proves how great of a doctor he is. Otherwise, I would have found a different doctor to care for me at some point over the years. I highly recommend him.
Dr. Steinke is an amazing and caring doctor. He listens very carefully and patiently and has always been helpful. He's very responsive if you have to call the office and his staff are wonderful.
Dr. Steinke has been my Obgyn since 2016. He is by far the most caring and knowledgeable doctor I’ve ever had and treats all his patients like family. His office is very welcoming and wait time is minimal usually no more than 10 minutes (unless he’s delivering). During all my pregnancies, if there was ever an emergency he’d call me back right away. Dr. Steinke has been my OB/GYN since March 1982, and has always been kind, genuine, thorough, and knowledgeable. He has treated me for everything from miscarriage to childbirth to menopause. I highly recommend him to anyone.
Dr. Steinke delivered my daughter. He is warm and caring! I felt like he took his time with me (a nervous first time mom) and was incredibly empathetic. I truly feel like he cared about us! I can’t recommend him enough!
