Literally did no tests like the doctor requested and said if the pain doesnt go away in 3 weeks, then there will be test as if being in terrible pain for a week already does not give a good of enough reason to do the test. The doctor referred me to him in order to get an MRI. Instead he told me to rest and wait three weeks to see if it gets better instead of doing the MRI to see what the problem is....a waste of an appointment and time.
Loved the orthopedic walk in clinic! In an out in an hour! Dr Hood and staff were efficient and pleasant as always.
Takes time with the patient. Listens carefully to the patient’s concerns. Gives easy to understand diagnostic recommendations. You know you are in the presence of many years of collective knowledge analyzing your concerns.
Dr. Hood has a long history of orthopedic care experiance. He listened to my concerns, reviewed the results of my diagnostic plan and worked with me to develop a treatment plan that I was comfortable with. He did not rush the visit.

Have had a lot of pain in my left thumb, just popped up out of nowhere. Dr Hood confirmed that it was 'Trigger Finger' and gave me a shot in my thumb area to help it heal. Started feeling relief later in the day. So far it seems to be working. He indicated that it could take a week or two to heal.
He listens to his patients - he didn't rush me and I found him comfortable, knowledgeable and very just delightful - a smart with a very good manner about him. His staff are friendly and appear happy in their positions. A real positive when you enter any facility.
It was good. First time here. Got relief from a shot.
