Very friendly owners and staff. So much to see in the store. I was so excited to hold the baby macaw (only 6 months old). Definitely will go back when I'm in town.
I drove 27 miles each way, and it was totally worth it. Mike was equally knowledgeable and personable! My cockatiel has several health concerns and Mike listened to the whole story. He made great food recommendations comparing percentages of proteins and fats, and I think we came up with a smart blend for my girl. Better/smarter toy selection than what large chains offer also.
I enjoyed this store. It was obviously cleaning day and being a bird lover I appreciated the mess of seeds and feathers. All the birds were very friendly and well socialized. I walked in wanting a pair of doves and walked out with 6 (I have plenty of space) Mike made sure to ask important questions like cage size and how much exercise we intended on giving them. You can't find a better store to buy from. The staff is super friendly and knowledgeable. They always take such good care of me I couldn't imagine going anywhere else. If you're looking for a bird or fish you definitely should go to royal...
