Beautiful old theater and it is much bigger than you would expect from outside. I don't think there is a bad seat in the house and the sound was fantastic. Ticket price was slightly more to see the same performer I saw in another smaller theater in Victoria, however it is still worth it because you will be comfortable and the show will be enjoyable as far as the facility goes. Lots of room for an older theater when everyone is moving about during intermission and at the end of the night as well.

We attended the Allan Doyle and the East Pointers at the Royal Theater last night. The concert was fantastic. The seats in the balcony hsd great sight lines. Unfortunately, there is no elevator and the central staircase up the balconies has no railing. I walk with a cane and stuck to the outer wall/stairs where the was a railing i saw two elders people fall on those stairs, even though someone was walking with them. Watched the Victoria Symphony Orchestra's presentation of 'Back to The Future'. Loved it. Theater was comfortable, Bar prices were insanely high, however the money is clearly being put to good use maintaining this historic facility, so we didn't mind. It was nice to be able to drink Wine whilst enjoying the presentation. Staff were super friendly and helpful. 4/5 stars!
