Built as a Spanish Colonial style mansion for a wealthy New York financier, at the base of Camelback Mountain, it was several years before this beautiful building, became the Royal Palms Resort. With old-style bathroom fixtures, ornate interiors and top class facilities, this is a favorite among the rich and the famous who come to Phoenix. With the contemporary restaurant, T. Cook's and theAlvadora Spa, you will be hard pressed to find a more relaxing hotel in town.

It was run down. The rooms lacked comfort and a feel of coziness. The food was just OK. Trash bags were stacked in visible spaces. The grounds were nothing more than a maze. The outdoor wedding site was simply a shell. Just disappointing all around not to mention the outrageous cost of the rooms, food and event charges!
Absolute perfection! Great service, beautiful location, good food. We were very satisfied after leaving. Cannot wait to go back!!
Stayed here in the past and was a beautiful spot, always return to T Cooks for lunch when we are in town .

The Royal Palms is beautiful! My husband and I are from Baltimore Maryland and we traveled all the way here to elope at the Grand Canyon and stay here. This has been truly one of the best experiences ever!!!!!! Everyone here has been so helpful. Amber and Flor have been exceptional. They have catered to our every need. The staff has been very attentive, friendly, and helpful. and I cannot wait to plan our one year anniversary here! Thank you all!
