Very bad service. After a long time, I visited this location and was surprised to find it empty. We asked for dine-in and were told we could sit anywhere. We waited about 10 minutes before placing our order. The food was served on a dirty plate, and there was no cutlery on the table. We waited for a bit, thinking it would be brought to us, but had to get it ourselves from another table. The dirty plate was replaced without any apology or response. Overall, very disappointed with the service.

The food here was good, Marchal curriappa dosa was very spicy as one of my friend recommended, it would be nice to reduce the spice level. Since we had kids the water was served in plastic cups, we prefer to change the cups as they were old. The outstanding item on the menu was the grilled Bombay sandwich. We tried the vada paav, Paav Bhaaji, Mysore masala dosa and Dahi chat. We finished with the signature Calcutta paan which was nostalgic. There is no other place you can get a paan other than Royal paan to my knowledge.

I was craving gol gappas so I tried this place. They were $7 for 7 small pieces. They were not the typical gol gappa flavor which usually comes with imli pani and chatneys, it didn't tasted fresh or tasty (kind of a stale taste). They were flat and the filling was also not good. Disappointed.
