This was the first time that I have eaten at Royal India bistro, and I went there based off of a recommendation. I could only get takeout because of Covid but it was very good and I really enjoyed it. I’ve been to India and had genuine Indian cuisine and this was very authentic. The naan was amazing!
My husband and I get Royal India once every month and we count down the days until we can get it again. The chicken korma and chicken tikka masala are the most delicious we have ever had. Honestly, everything we get there is delicious! And the customer service is amazing - the proprietors have always treated us with kindness and warmth. So happy they are open again!
The chicken tikka masala is the best I’ve had anywhere in the world. The paratha and garlic naan are fantastic!

I have placed many orders never again! Keema was disgusting no flavor and Keema is not suppose to be watery! The paratas was so under cooked that it was not safe to eat the pakoras was burnt. Spoke to the manager and he couldn’t care less. Do yourself a favor don’t order food from here or you will 1- get sick 2- you will waste your money
Great location in the heart of Lexington. Great and friendly service. Ambience is cozy yet with just enough air of formality to make it a perfect spot for any special occasions, romantic or otherwise. Food is spot on. We had a range of “medium spicy” to “very spicy” dishes that pleased our palates. Definitely will be back for more.
