Took our deposit and went out of business due to bankruptcy without any warning!! Wedding is in 20 days and now having to find a backup plan for a 130 person plated dinner with 5 bartenders. I am in a better spot than some couples who got the news TWO DAYS BEFORE THEIR WEDDING!! Absolutely devastating and a disgrace. The owners have notified us that no one will be getting back their deposits…which average $5-$11k! Being told that we can make a claim or use event insurance to get that money back. We are 40 days out on our wedding and we had to hear through the grape vine that this business is shutting down. Went to both locations . South location was completely gutted and deserted and no one was at the north location. No correspondence at all no warning. After calling and emailing I finally got an email stating they were being acquired buy another business . No response to any of my calls and emails. Absolutely sick over this ordeal. Royal Fig catered my wedding this last June and everyone at our wedding raved about how great the food was. They were so quick to help us and responsive from the beginning. They made the process very low maintenance and easy, which is what every bride wants!! At the wedding they assigned an employee to cater to just us (the bride and groom) which was soooo amazing - she kept drinks in our hands as we wanted, checked on us frequently and made sure we had what we needed/wanted. We loved working with Royal Fig! Their food is absolutely incredible and we got so many compliments. The service from their staff was also amazing and everyone was so kind and professional. The private tasting we had with them was such a highlight of our wedding planning experience. We also really appreciate Cora and Cat, who were so communicative, helped with whatever we needed, and answered all our questions the whole time!
Royal Fig did the catering for our daughter's wedding last weekend. The food was excellent - so many of our guests commented how good everything was. And the staff was amazing. Friendly and helpful and behind the scenes. Again, many compliments from our guests. We would highly recommend Royal Fig for any catering needs. Thank you!!
