Royal Ambulance is a great company that will train you to be an exceptional Healthcare provider. I have worked as an EMT for Royal for almost 2 years and they have provided me with so many opportunities to learn and grow. Their CCT program is exceptional and they train their EMTs to work alongside their nurses in a cohesive team. They will train you on ventilators, IV pumps and even ECMO! I had a great experience working here.
Royal was an amazing place to work. They had an amazing support system for new hires. The academy and FTO training taught me how to be a good EMT. The training gave me the confidence I needed. The partners I worked with were always there to answer any questions I had and encourage me when I needed it. Additionally, I believe the patient care experience I had at Royal helped me get into nursing school.
Royal has been a great place for me as a learning opportunity, and as a support system. The atmosphere of sheer friendliness makes making new connections a breeze. Everyone is supportive of each other and the supervisors try their best to make sure each and every individual has all their needs attended to. As a college student though, I have noticed couple incidents where the initial scheduling was not flexible with the school schedule even upon multiple requests. Royal has a unique environment compared to other BLS companies in that it really strives to be great in all areas. Patient experience, ensuring worker/patient safety, and also ensuring a good worker experience which is all taken into account. I worked at Royal Ambulance for six months and I have nothing but great things to say. It was an awesome learning experience and a great start to my journey into the medical field. Royal is the best BLS company around!!!
